This post isn't about the popular book The Hunger Game. It's about the games we play with ourselves when we're hungry. Like, right now, I'm STARVING. I'm trying to slim down, though, and my last meal was only seven hours ago, which I've decided isn't long enough between meals. And in a way, that's like playing a game. In games, you have to make a lot of decisions, and this is the same thing. I think that makes sense.
I thought that was going to take longer than it did. Well, I guess I might as well review the book "The Hunger Game"!
REVIEW OF THE HUNGER GAME BY JAMES SORENSON (I didn't write the book, haha! I meant the review. I don't know who wrote the book)
I haven't read the book, but I sort of know what it's about. The main character is a girl whose name I think starts with K. I think it takes place in the future. I'm not sure how the main character got to the future. So it's like she's with a bunch of people, and there's people trying to kill them. There's some sort of "game" that involves murder, sort of like that movie The Most Dangerous Games. The stakes in The Hunger Game are more or less really really high the whole time. She also falls in love. This probably doesn't happen until the second book (assuming there are at least three books). Yeah, I think it's pretty safe to say that it happens in the second one. The cover has white letters in caps over a black background, and overall, it's a pretty nice design.
I rate the series 8/10 (I gave one extra point for the cool book cover). It really started out strong, and I was thinking "This is totally 10/10", but then it started to get kind of lame. I didn't read it, as I said already, but I'm going off what I heard.
