CHRISTMAS MUSIC

Yesterday, on a misty January morning, I was listening to the radio, and I couldn't help but notice that all they play is rock, rock, rock. That's on the rock station, anyway. On the other stations, they have other stuff, like country, funk classical (BORING!), and a variety of other styles But my point is, they only play certain kinds of music on the radio. Anyway, I was listening to the radio, and what I'm thinking this whole time is this: Whatever happened to good ol' Christmas music?!? It seems like they used to play it all the time. Last year, I remember hearing some Christmas songs on the radio, but I didn't hear them very often. That may have SOMETHING to do with not listening to the radio a lot; or not listening to that one station that plays Christmas music non-stop. (Or not spending enough time shopping in stores, where they pump subliminal Christmas music through the speakers to get the customers to buy more stuff.)

I think there should be a station to play Christmas music all year round. And it should be on FM radio, so that it's easy for people like me to access it. I'm sure they have year-round Christmas music on AM radio. But common people like me don't like to venture into the world of AM radio. The numbering system is really frustrating. I don't understand why, how when you go past the highest-numbered station, it goes back to the bottom station. That's stupid; FM radio doesn't do that.

Until this station gets approved, I'm going to put lots of Christmas music on my Ipod, I think. I heard you can buy the songs off of Itunes. My favorite one is "Sleigh Ride". I can't wait to download that!
